A letter from Dan Ober, of Birdseye Building Company
 For those who have a hard time seeing the handwriting in this letter, it reads:

"Hello John,
I finally finished my bookcases.
Took me almost 400 hrs. Thought you might
be interested in seeing the finished product.
The wood you dried was very good. It was
very evenly dried so it did not move,
at all when resawn or ripped. Keep up
good work.
Enclosed are some news item you may
find interesting.
